Shibani Kashyap started her career the way most singers do, by singing jingles. She shot to fame with her album Ho Gayi Hai Mohabbat, that got her a Channel V award. Apart from singing, she has also established herself as a music composer. She composed and sang the romantic Sajnaa aa bhi jaa, the energetic Zinda hoon main and the soulful Alvida, a tribute to the lives lost in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. Shibani has composed music for films like Sunday, Woodstock Villa and the more recent Maharathi, and title tracks for serials like Akela and Choona Hai Aasman. Her future film projects are Life, The Great Indian Butterfly, Main Osama and Shapit.
